Can anyone see anything?

Question

My period is irregular but usuall around 28-30 days. I'm on day 32 so took a test - can anyone see anything? Not sure what the ring is for but I've seen lots of other ppl do this so figured it helps in some way?

Day 34 and still no period..... Deep down I think I know it's just going to be a long cycle which means I probably ovulated much later than I thought which means we didn't DTD at the right time so I'm feeling despondent. Don't want to test again to add to disappointment. The test above was taken by first response which says 6 days before you're due it will tell u or not...! So I think I'm definitely not :(
