Curls

Bella

Okay, so, there is one myth about curly hair that pisses me off beyond conprehension. "Curly hair has to be long! It needs the length to weight down the top."

WRONG.

I have the curliest curly hair you can get. I am the 26 year old black Annie. (I'm not racist, but there are two Annie's and one is African American and one isn't. Those are the facts.) The thing is, too, I'm extremely white. Pale, pale white. And my hair is auburn. I'm a ginger, with very curly hair. You get the point.

I recently cut my hair to my shoulders. It dried just a bit above my shoulders. Personally, I love it. It is not frizzy. It has VOLUME. Volume is in! Ladies would die for curly hair with volume these days. Don't be ashamed. CUT IT. TAKE THE DIVE. My hair used to be down to my belly button. The top was held down, and it was a huge triangle when it dried.

I got my hair cut on Morris Park, Gian Carlo was the stylist's name. I've been going there since I was a kid. He's a great stylist, and the cut was amazing.

Take the plunge, ladies. I don't care if you have California beach waves or Annie curls like myself, it'll look great.

And if you've done it, post a picture! :)
