31 weeks Saturday;Question!
I will be 31 weeks on Saturday. I've had BH contractions since 18 weeks. So I'm used to that, but since 29w6d (or so), I've been experiencing period-like cramps in the right side of my lower abdomen, close to my hip bone. Sometimes it'll make my back ache. Yesterday, I had a few BH contractions that started off in my lower abdomen like always, then they slowly went up above my belly button. It wasn't too painful, but I've never felt that before. I wanted to see if you ladies knew what this was, or what it sounds like before I call my ob because she is always so busy. Any advice would be great! Thank you! -FTM 😊

you will know when you are in labor

of course you can have contractions without losing your mucus plug but most likely they are Braxton Hicks contractions. keep in mind that having contractions does not mean you are in labor.

I just worry because I've heard that if your whole belly is tightening up, it's an actual contraction...? But idk if I'm able to have those if I haven't lost my mucus plug. Is that possible?
