Ladies... how long did it take for you to get your first period after stopping birth control?

How long did it take to get your period after stopping birth control? Tomorrow will be cd 40 and no AF in sight. We are not actively ttc just trying to clear out my system before we do. I took 2 tests and they are both negative. I was on the generic for Sprintec and my cycle was 28-29 days. Is this normal? When should I be concerned?

Shot: took 3 years to regulate. 
Nuvaring: 8 months.
Pill: a month.

When I came off hormonal b/c I didn't get a period for three months, my dr said that was fairly normal.

I had the nexplanon implant in my arm. I had sporadic spotting throughout three years. The very last few months I bled enough to use more than a panty liner. I came off of it in mid February and had a period in March and every month since then. If you are concerned id speak to the doctor.
