I have realized that I am never going to be able to take the pill and I'm looking for other options. I'm not sure how I'd feel about the nuvaring but if anyone could give me some advice, pros and cons, etc. Thank you

I love my implant. I have PCOS and its caused so many of my issues to be nonexistent. It's extremely affective at preventing pregnancy. It's painless. Maybe 15 minutes to insert, then you're protected for 3 years.

Also whatever option you choose, I would highly reccomend staying away from the shot. If you have bad reactions to it, you're stuck with it for 3-6 months. As it won't instantly leave your body. Huge chance for infertility. Only one proven for weight gain. And a whole other spew of issues. Just read up on whatever you get! And talk to your doctor about whatever is best for you. 😊

I loved my implant.  I had the Nexplanon for 7 years.  Each implant is good for 3 years.  No period and it was very effective lol.

I really like the Mirena IUD, it is a little painful when you get it inserted but it lasts for 5 years and is incredibly low maintenance!

I use NuvaRing and am a fan thus far. You just kinda stick it up there and it does its job. I know you said you might not be comfortable with it, but I just thought I'd share a positive opinion
