32 weeks + 4 days, 3cm dilated and day 3 of hospital stay! Anyone else experiencing pre-term labor??

So last Tuesday I had to leave work early after some serious lower belly pain which had been getting worse for a few days to the point I couldn't walk (ended up being pubic synthesis disorder) but the birthing center didn't even treat me for that as I was also apparently having contractions every 2 minutes and was unaware but cervix was closed, so they gave me an injection to stop contractions and sent me home to rest for a few days and take it easy when I went back to work. Injection lasted for maybe an hour and contractions started up again  and continued getting more regular and constantly throughout day/night but didn't hurt. So I went to my routine prenatal Wednesday morning and told my midwife about them and when she checked my cervix she found out I was 1 cm dilated so I had to be sent to the birthing center to get out on monitors and was contracting every 4-21 minutes so I had to be admitted. I was given a steroid shot, an injection for contractions to stop, and pills every 6 hours to stop contractions as well, but all only lasted less then 20 minutes at a time so by 9 am the next morning I was at 2 cm. the birthing center isn't equipped to deal with preemie babies at 32 weeks so I had to be ambulance transferred to the bigger hospital an hour away. I was sent to labor and delivery and hooked up to monitors, given another steroid injection for babies lungs, pumped with more medicine for contractions but was now at 3cm. We had to meet with NICU team and were prepped on everything if he were to come 7 weeks + 4 days early. Luckily they checked my cervix later in the day and being unchanged, I was able to be sent up to a more comfortable room to rest. Now awaiting next cervix check and to discuss long term plan.
Has anyone else had anything similar happen?!? I'm suppose to be due August 22nd also, but baby is currently 5 lbs!! So chunky, which is good/bad in a preemie, but if I go to term he will be massive!! And I've only gained 18lbs this pregnancy so far 😂
