Question

I took a pregnancy test last Friday said pregnant 1-2 went to the health department this past Monday, they told me I was 5 weeks and 1 week. Wouldn't the pregnancy test have said 2-3 or 3+.? I'm sorry if it sounds like a dumb question or anything, I'm just curious..
