Too many clothes?

Question

My daughter already has alot of clothes ( well enough to fit a suitcase ) but they are mostly if not all 0-3 & 3-6 month clothes, my mom says its not a good idea to buy anymore clothes right now, is she right?

Ps this is a pretty large suitcase and its filled to the top lol

I have so many friends that bought so much clothes for 0-3 and half of it wasn't even worn because of how quickly they grow! So I say Definitely enough! My favorite advice so far is 
'Buy as baby grows' 
Example we don't have a highchair, were waiting to look at one once he can sit on his own. Because it's pointless right now. Instead we used that money to buy wipes! 
(Very cute clothes tho!)

Haha. My son's dresser is super full of mostly newborn to 3 months with some up to 6 months. I guess I might have gone a little crazy. Lol I have boxes of 6 months to a year in the garage. I know I will probably not use half of them, but oh well. Whoever gets my hand me downs will be happy.
