Tubal reversal?

I am 31 years old as my husband is as well. I have three children from a previous marriage and he has 1 child from a previous. We do not have kids together but one like something terrible. After I had my youngest (8.5 years ago) I had my tubes cut, tied and burned. My husband and I were talking about saving the money to do a reversal but we also know it's not 100%. 
Any suggestions or advice for us? Has anyone else had this done and had a successful pregnancy? If so, how long did it take and were there other procedures involved to help?

Female tubal ligation should never be reversed. The risk of ectopic pregnancy is astronomical. Your best bet is IUI from harvesting his sperm and your eggs.

I had mine done back in August.  Not pregnant yet but still hopeful. I had mine done in NC, Dr. Monteith. It was a great experience. Don't listen to the other comment.  Ectopic pregnancy can happen with anyone.  If you look around on here there are plenty of women that have become pregnant with eptopic who haven't had their tubes reversed. Of course it's a possibility. I suggest you take your time and do some research.  My obgyn is the one that sent me to NC. You could always ask yours.

I’m 32 remarried, had a tubal ligation back in 2010. I had my tubes put back together nov 2017 and was released jan 2018 to start trying to conceive. The fertility office will ask for your records from your surgery to be sure enough tube was left. From there they will decide how good it is for you. We decided to do it this way because if I didn’t become pregnant then I could start with clomid next and go from there since my first pregnancy fertility meds were needed. But we did toss around the idea of IVF at first. It’s just sooo expensive.
