BFP? I want to be sure before calling the doctor

So I'm pretty sure I got a BFP. Testing in a few days again to make sure. I read somewhere that most doctors make you wait till your at least  8 weeks to come in. Is this true?

For your first main appointment yes but as soon as you get a positive test you should be able to make an appointment to make sure your pregnant right away.. they give you a bag of magazines and samples... I don't know if they do that everywhere but that's how it's been for me

I just called my obgyn 4 days ago after getting 3 BFP (3 days in a row), they said they will set up a confirmation appointment next week after I've had a missed period. Then after that it will be weeks before another appointment.
