babies that are exclusively breastfed...

if you give your baby a pacifier, which ones do you use? my baby was given the round green one at the hospital and he has been using that.. but i also had mam pacifiers at home that i originaly wanted him to use.. since he was use to the hospital one i never tried to switch.. i got curious and gave him the mam one today and he liked it and used it. he actually went back and forth between the two, without issues.. but i am wondering if this could mess with his latching on my breast or if one pacifier is better than the other or could he use both? they are completely different nipples on both pacifiers. he is 3 weeks old btw. any response or advice is very much appreciated!

We were given a Soothie for our babe in the hospital, but we also had a mam one. He will switch back and forth between the brands, but mam is his preferred; he seems to have an easier time keeping it in his mouth. We actually bought him two more the other day, just in case one gets lost or broken! It's not given us any issues with feeding. 😊

thank you for your input! i also noticed he has an easier time keeping the mam one in his mouth! i was just concerned that with the nipple being so different, it would confuse him and mess with his latching! i think we will keep trying the mam and see what happens! thank you again!!

I give him the Avent pacifiers and he uses them and likes them from what I can tell.I was scared it would affect his latch for breastfeeding but we have no issues.
