Some say scratch your ear! I just click my tongue on my roof, and make my throat spasm like a frog or something lol

I eat and ice cube or freezy/ice pop or Popsicle. Or itch my ears carefully with a Q-tip. Itching my ears helps my throat not itch. Usually it's my allergies so I have drops for my ears also.

Usually for me it's a sign that I'm being affected by my allergies.

I wouldn't recommend scratching it. I did that once with a plastic straw, which felt great at first. But then it was sore and raw for two days. It would be better to take some benadryl, eat something cold, maybe eat some chips so it can scratch your throat while swallowing without hurting it, or use a throat numbing spray.
