Encouraging Words in 11-month old?

My son babbles constantly which is great, I love listening to him. Are there ways I can encourage his babbles into words? Right now I talk with him. Anything more I can do?

Don't baby talk. Simple words and repetition. Baby is still very young. No need to worry too much. My second didn't speak a lot until he was 2. We were worried but then he started speaking full sentences. Every child is different. Just repeat the same words often and use real words. I never used baby talk with any of my kids. They are tiny humans and capable of understanding. Penal speech.

What I've read is speak simplistically (but using real words and not baby talk) to encourage them to speak individual words at first. They may not quite follow if you say " Is that a dog?" But if you say "Dog?" they start to associate the word with the object and it's easier to say monosyllabic things at first too.
