First Birthdays?

So we are approaching the 6 month mark and I've started thinking about what all we want to do for little girls first birthday(I'm on things way in advance I know-but hey I'm a planner)-thinking something just with family. Anyone else thinking about parties yet? :)

It is so funny to see this! I was actually talking to my sister the other day about my daughters first birthday. She was born on December 31. I was coming up the theme ideas the other day and even created the invitation out of boredom (I am also on summer vacation)!

We are just going to have a lil tea party for our family & close friends. We call him our lil monkey so we are going to have a jungle theme, but it wont be much, just a few sarnies etc, his first birthday is a week before my sisters 18th!!

I've had a pintrest board for her first birthday since my last month of pregnancy! I'm thinking a small mostly family party with a rainbow theme. (She's a rainbow baby and I love rainbows!)

So I was thinking of this too- and since our babies were born in January, I thought a winter ONEderland party would be cute!

I was thinking the same thing. We'll be doing an Amaria in One-derland (Alice in wonderland) theme. Our little one is slowly showing a lot of personality. My husband actually picked it. Good luck with the planning!

Lol in Hawaii we start to plan 1st birthdays from like 2 months old since it's a big thing here... Almost as big as weddings where there's usually over a hundred people who come. So yes planning has begun for our little one 😄

It's gone as far as, I'm going to bake and decorate her cake (with the help of my sister in law cause I never have, and she is amazing at it) and I'm doing my birthday with hers for family. Mines December 8 and hers is Jan 6.

It's less work that way, and I really don't care! Lol and I'm debating on having both sides there and just have one big part and get it over with.

I was just going to invite family and buy a full sized cake for us and a small special cake for my girl.  I was gonna order out some dinner and just basically have a family get together.  I might get some foil balloons (I'm allergic to latex) and a few decorations, but nothing too fancy.
