Selfies and pictures

Why do you think woman feel the need to post constant pictures of themselves? It gets on my nerves so bad that I actually want to Unfriend people because of it. I can't figure out what it is that bothers me about. Anyone else feel this way? I really just think that they are seeking attention in a way. I don't know why else someone would post constant pictures of themselves.
