Right/Wrong Timing?

Me and my husband have decided we would like to begin TTC our second child a few weeks ago. We are both 22 and have stable jobs, but neither of us necessarily plan on staying where we are at workwise forever.

We fought and argued for over a year about whether it was a good time for a second baby or if we should have another one at all. Our son just turned 2 and I have always wanted my children to be relatively close in age so I pressed to have another one.

He literally went to bed one night saying absolutely not, then came to me after work the next day saying we should have another baby. He has stuck to wanting another baby since he told me about it and I got my birth control removed, but now I'm nervous that this will end in him resenting me later on down the road.

Is there ever a right time for another baby? I could use any thoughts/wisdom/advice!
