I've never even thought of this? Discharge is normal so it's never even crossed my mind. I shower or at least clean my body every day so I've never been too worried. Of course, if the discharge isn't looking normal I'll be a little worried (and probably wouldn't have sex anyway so I don't pass on a yeast infection or something) but otherwise I don't worry about it.
