Bad news:clomid

I've been trying for 8 or 9 months now and I just found out I don't ovulate.. I've bought pregnancy tests my s/o bought condoms all for nothing. But now we know I'm about to start clomid in a couple of days trying to get pregnant has been so stressful for nothing. But now I only have 6 months with this pill if it gets me ovulating has anyone been on this and been successful at becoming pregnant? And fully having a healthy baby? I'm excited but also worried about the fact that only 50% get pregnant but 80% ovulate do you know the process? Really would like more info I didn't get much from the doctor statistics wise
