Hold off on TTC or not?

Question

My husband and I have been trying to conceive baby number eight for the last two months. We recently decided to let my cousin who is a young single dad (21) and his two-year-old son to move in with us. He is in the process of an ugly divorce and is financially struggling right now. Should we hold off on trying to conceive or should we continue as planned. Thoughts and comments welcome.

We went through so much in our 10 months ttc. Things change, he lost his job, we got a dog, and we still carried on and got pregnant when everything had settled down and he had another job. I believe you'll get pregnant when you're supposed to. I also didn't want to go back onto birth control after trying for so long
