Boppy/ brest friend to hospital?

Hello Mamas!

Is anyone taking their boppy or brest friend to the hospital with them?

We were told it would be a good idea to bring it at our breast feeding class.  The hospital only has so many pillows to hand out!

I'm bringing the boppy! It's been recommended by nurses and friends/family.

I brought my boppy when I had my first and plant to bring it again when I have my second next month. Helps with feeding and it also helps other family members to hold the baby more comfortably. If you live close enough to the hospital, wait till after delivery to bring it. You won't need it before and will move to a different room postpartum. My mother in law brought it when she came to the hospital which was perfect timing since I was already in my room and didn't have to worry about moving it or losing it.

I'm strongly considering it. With my first I delivered on a Tuesday night and we didn't get discharged until Friday mid morning. Hopefully I won't have the complications I did and can go home sooner.  It would've been nice for an extended stay like that but not for a quick one I am thinking.

I have both and my sister who has 2 kids said to bring the boppy not breast friend because if you have to have a csection you won't want to sit up to strap the breast friend around you. Makes sense to me!
