Help! I have a 6 week old and I was just diagnosed with Shingles. I have a call into our pediatrician (he will be back tomorrow, out for the holiday) but curious if anyone has heard about this or gone through it themselves. I have not held my baby in 2 days, thank God for daddies, I am devestated. I have been told by the pediatric nurse and my doctor that the baby would have to touch them and it would not be shingles but she would get chickenpoxs (they are in the same family) either way looking for someone who has gone through this and can share with me and if you are a praying person I ask that you keep my little girl in your prayers, please.
