I've been on that same boat. When I dumped my ex boyfriend I felt so bad about what happened. I don't know why but I thought maybe texting would make things better. But when I started talking to my now hubby, my husband said he will be fine he has family and friends to help him get through the break up. I've been through it, there's no need to bring up the past you broke up for a reason
