I'm so scared
So we find out if I'm having a boy or girl this Monday (the 11th). I really don't care what I have I just want the little squish to be healthy , however my dad keeps saying that if it's a boy I have to name his middle name after his because 'it's a family tradition'. The only issues I have with it is
1. My dad and I don't even get along
2. It was started by my grandmother so not much of a tradition
3. The baby won't have his last name, it will have my boyfriends
4. It's a weird name and I got made fun of for my name all my life, I don't want my child to have to go through that either
And 5. It's my brothers middle name and I can tell he's embarrassed by it by the way he refuses to tell anybody his middle name when it's broughten up.
Pleeease give me advice I don't know what to do or anything, or how to even bring up the fact that I'm not going to name it after him.
