Off BC for a year - no period still

Hello. I've been off of my BC for a year now. I had a slight bleeding just because I stopped my pills. I've not had a good person since stopping. Has anyone else ever done this? I was on BC for around 5-6 years (the pill)- junelle I think was the name. I'm 22 years old. I went to the gyno four months after stopping. She did blood work and said I was fine. She said having a period wasn't a concern unless I wanted to try and have a baby. That was eight months ago and still nothing. Please give me some feedback.
