Military Spouses - Advice on how to Connect again?
Hey Everyone!
I've been having quite a serious talk with my husband who's a Marine currently overseas, and when he drinks - he's able to tell me he's afraid he may never get feelings of any kind back.
He said he loves me so much and he's sorry for not telling me more, but he struggles with expressing daily emotions like happiness, sadness, longing, frustration, even being content. He struggles to feel something after he's worked so hard to not, simply because it's too painful while he's in the military.
So I was hoping to start a topic as a thread for those women who currently experience this with their spouse, advice on how to be there for your spouse, how you managed to reconnect, or support other women currently dealing with this as I am.
