Please read and help me

I apologize in advance for the long post, but I am desperate and want a baby so bad. I got pregnant in April, but I had a chemical pregnancy beginning May 20. For those of you who don't know what a chemical pregnant is, it's the earliest miscarriage. I was only about 3-4 weeks. I started my period after I got pregnant, and that was when I passed my baby. I have not had a period since my miscarriage (May 20). I took an ovulation test June 1 because I was having lower abdomen pain, which I usually have when I ovulate. It was positive, but I was not having the egg white cervical mucus that I usually have. We had sex, but I didn't get pregnant. The ovulation test much have been false. I got another positive ovulation test June 20, and this time I had the pain and ewcm, so I knew I was ovulation for sure. We had sex almost every day that week. It's been 16 past ovulation, and I still haven't had my period or a positive pregnancy test. I haven't tested since Monday. I just keep spending money on tests and get let down. I need some serious advice. What would you do? Go get blood test? Test again later? Help! I'm using the First Response 6 days early tests.
