How did you introduce your pet?

I have a beautiful and sweet little pit/Shepard mix and she's been #1 baby for 2 years. We will soon be bringing home our twins in the next two weeks and I am wondering how you pet lovers have introduced your animals to your babies? I get the whole "bring a blanket home that smells like the babies and start there..." But hoping to hear what else has worked for you all?

We just brought her inside I held her while my SO watched the dogs. 
We have an Alaskian malamute who loves new things but is also very old,
A chow mix who ignores people and likes to be by herself, a German shepherd who just loves to play, pit/German shepherd mix who still isn't cordinated right as he's only 6 months old.

The two older dogs just smelt her and walked off. But the German shepherd and the pit/ German shepherd are both younger and more curious but they just licked her head and smelt her diaper and that was it. The pit mix tries to lay with her but he still flops his feet everywhere so we are waiting for her to be a little older and the dog to be more cordinated😂.

But yeah all we did is bring her in let them sniff and go on with there lives. If they got to close my SO would make them sit and lay down then give them a treat. We also don't allow our dogs to jump on us anymore so that they won't do it to the baby.

She's been preparing herself as well with boundary classes and learning some etiquette. She's been taking these classes for a while so it's more for us dog parents I think lol.

We had kennelled our two dogs while in the hospital. We brought baby home and then brought the dogs home a few days later. It seemed to work out okay. We just let them smell all the baby things and then smell the baby. They seem fine so far and baby is 2 weeks old.
