Baby always hungry.
We exclusively ff after a failed attempt at breastfeeding. He is 10 weeks old and eats 6 ozs every 2-3 hours and lately he doesn't seem satisfied after that. We try all the normal run through before offering a bottle (pacifier for comfort, changing diaper, trying to nap in case he's sleepy) and it seems all he wants is a bottle. We have a doctor's appointment next week and I'm worried about the amount of weight he's gained and his doctor's response. My sister said to ask him about starting solids at 3 months because that's what the same pediatrician told her to do with her daughter who was the same way. I just feel like solids at 3 months is too early and was wondering if there's another alternative. I've heard of hungry baby formula and was thinking that maybe I could get him to recommend that instead. We use wic though so I don't know if they cover that. Does anyone have experience with a super hungry baby and what solutions you have found that worked for you. Oh, he hardly ever spits up and I haven't noticed any signs of tummy troubles that would lead to him wanting to eat more often. Thanks for any advice in advance!
