Progesterone after two MCs?

After two miscarriages, my OB wants me to start clomid and try again. Last mc she promised me if my levels were too low, I'd start progesterone. Well, unfortunately she didn't Monitor in a way that she'd be able to even catch my progesterone dropping and I miscarried before I could even see her again. Can I request to start progesterone immediately this time around? Regardless of my levels at first draw? I'd rather be safe that sorry
