Question about being dialated???

I've been seeing a lot of mommies that are due in August that are already dialated 1 or more cms. From what I hear you feel a lot of pressure. My question is silly but if you are dialated can you still have sex 🤔🤔🤔 I've been feeling a lot of pressure and pains but I don't have an appointment until next Thursday so I won't know until then.

I was checked yesterday and the doctor told me "There's not much going on down there, which is normal for a first time mom" so he didn't tell me if I was slightly dilated or not at all. But you can still have sex! I have never heard of anything saying you cant. The only time you can't is after your water breaks (unless specified by a doctor for other reasons!)
