Is it just me or does anyone put themselves depressed for no reason ?

This happens to me A LOT. Its very upsetting. Sometimes I know im overreacting to something but i just cant avoid it. A few days ago my BF woke up in the mid of the night and I tried to cuddle and he just went "no, its too hot", for me it feel like someone told me my whole family had just died and i felt completely unloved, and even though in the back of my head i knew he was genuinely just feeling hot, i put myself into thinking he hated me. Like wat. But i can still remember the sadness i felt and how lonely and rejected i was feeling. Sometimes randomly i like to put on some very depressing songs and just cry my eyes out, i dont even need to have a reason, it can be the fact that there was no more ice cream left but during those few minutes of crying i just feel home and somehow like thats what im supposed to do.

Very strange.

It's normal to get randomly depressed cuz of things like hormones or psychological issues

Or, If you like being depressed, i heard from a psychology website it means that you're comfortable with it because of how often you get sad
