Hospital bag and baby bag?

I'm a first time mom and wondering what i should pack for my self and for my son. Have you packed your hospital bag yet? I'm 25 weeks and wondering if I should pack my mine yet. Are you packing anything for your baby? Any suggestions?

I'm 26 wks and I don't even have a diaper bag yet 😭😭😭 is that bad? All we have is a crib and some nb clothes 😶. His nursery is still his dad's gym and my MIL says she's throwing me a baby shower but hasn't really sat down and talked to me about it soooooo idk if it'll happen. I'm really hoping it does because I feel so behind! 😢 anyway if I did have everything together and my way I think I would have packed and unpacked my diaper bag a million times already Lol

I was in the hospital longer than most (was induced). THe hospital provided a lot like shampoo, pads, diapers, etc. But the things I wanted were comfy clothes and old lady underwear, lotion, hair dryer, make up, and socks. It seems crazy, I don't have to wear make up every day, but everyone that walks in that door wants to take 5,000 pictures of the "new family". And after giving birth it just felt alittle better to actually take a nice shower and get somewhat presentable. Just brought one outfit and car seat to bring little man home in, other wise he was just in a diaper for skin to skin time.

I've given birth four times already, so my answer would be for you and baby all you really need to pack is the clothes you want to wear while in the hospital, and what you want to go home in. The hospital provides you with everything else such as pads and diapers. You will even have hospital socks.
