Mucus plug?

So I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I noticed about a teaspoon size almost gelatin mucus. It was completely clear that I noticed. Could this of been my plug? I'm not a first time mom but I've never lost it with my other 2 kids before they were born. Not to mention it's been 12 years since I've had a baby lol. Thanks guys for your help.
