Semi long distance relationship
Hello guys! I need some help! A guy I've been seeing since my sophomore year of high school till now (senior in college) we've sort of ran into a dilemma. We are both continuing our education and after our undergrad year we had both agreed to go to schools in Florida to remain close to each other. Now, we've found out our schools that we picked or about 200-400 miles apart by car. I told that we've been together for so long it's no point of breaking up for this issue. However, he told me that he does not want a long distance relationship. He wants to be able to be around in a close distance. Due to our relationship now him and I are like velcro. Lol, wherever you see him I am not too far and vice versa. He's telling me being so far away is going hurt him and etc. Also, that " if he's in a relationship he's wants to give his time and make sure we are both happy and that won't happen with the distance". Out of impluse i told him we should just call it quits because the more I agured that we should just make it work the more he told me it wouldn't. I do not want to be single him and I were talking about marriage a few weeks ago. What should I do? I do not believe what I am asking for is unrealistic. There are many couples who have/had long distance relationships and turned out successful. I'm just confused and and hurt at this moment in time. What should I say to him? How can I convince him that we can withstand this? And that it will be an adjustment but only temporarily.
PS. The schools are in Jacksonville FL and his is in West Palm Beach
