Brazilian wax... Worth it? How painful??

Question

So are Brazilian waxes worth it? How painful is it? How often do you have to go? Do they wax around your anal area too or is that extra? How long does your hair have to be to wax? I've seen about a centimeter but I need visuals not measurements lol... What about armpits? I hate shaving so please give me all the info you have!

I've had two of them and don't want any others.  The first one hurt pretty bad especially the whole front.  The second they said wouldn't hurt as much but it hurt just the same.  If I left and a couple of hours later the swelling was going down I could have dealt with it, however, i was swollen for about 3 days and then bruised.  I have SUPER sensitive skin though, so maybe that's why.  It was done at a European wax center

Asking if it hurts is kinda like asking if tattoos hurts lol so it really depends on your pain tolerance. First few times you'll wanna go every 4-5 weeks bc all the hairs are on different growth cycles..after you get that under control, it should last about 8 weeks and totally worth it! Also, the bunny tail (anal) really depends on where you go if they'll charge extra...European wax center is included in the Brazilian. If your hair is too long, they will trim for you if need be. But PLEASE, as someone who does this for a living, be sure to shower before you go? Just as a courtesy. ☺️

I've always done it myself with stripless wax from sallys...it doesn't hurt too bad and totally worth skipping the razor burn. I quit waxing recently because I ran out and im too cheap to buy more (even though it's less than $20) lol but I'm 6 weeks pregnant so I'm trying to decide if I should start again that way the first won't be so hard to clear up as I get bigger. I also recommend epilating your legs!  Bikini area hurts to much for me to stipulate but I haven't shaved my legs since December and I don't get prickly anymore and I don't have to worry about it every day!  😊

And waxing pits is the amazing! I personally usually have to shave every other day and it's just annoying..makes it smooth and the hair grows back soft so it's not so bad to let it go before you're up for your next wax! 👌🏻
