What are the chances of my baby having ginger hair??

So I'm 13 weeks pregnant and my partner has ginger hair but it's more blonde now and he's the only ginger in his family and I have brown hair I'm Fijian and Australia I'll put a photo in of us.

What are the chances of my baby's hair colour being ginger?

I'd love for it to get my hair colour! Haha

My son was suuuuper dark when he was born, then he sorta went through a reddish phase, and now he's blonde. I think he'll get darker as an adult. His hair at least. Both his dad and I have brown hair, but his dad has tints of red in his beard and stuff. I was a blonde kid then got dark. We'll see I guess! I predict you have kids like mine. But you never know!

Ginger is a very recessive gene. So it would be very rare for your baby to get it.

If he's the only ginger in his family, probably pretty low. My brown haired sister and her dark haired ex had a red haired baby, but only because our dad, grandparents and uncles have red hair - it just skipped a generation.
