What to do when you have awful or frequent headaches

Jllismuch • 26, been married for the past 7 years almost 8 to my amazing husband, baby time hopefully soon
Ladies this has nothing to do with ttc or pregnancy but it's a good thing to know for yourself and your children. Let me give you a small back story....
I worked at Walmart years ago in the jewelry department and I loved it! Hated the company but loved being in the jewelry department. One day I was closing and one of our jewelry case doors were busted and wouldn't lock and the door would easily come off the tracks so I grab the door and try to pull up and out so I can take it off and put it back on the tracks properly. As I'm pulling its not coming off so I pull harder a few times and the door comes out from me pulling so hard that it hit me on my forehead and it did not feel great.
That night I go home and I had a horrible headache, I even took coediene and it didn't help. I had the headache for 8 hours straight, so a day or later i went to see the dr. And she sent me to get an MRI and when we got back the results I was not prepared at all to hear what they found. They said they found that I had Hydrocephalus, it's something I could have been born with it could have developed over time from hitting my head. Basically anyone could have it! It's a serious disease and commonly headaches are the signs of it. Basically hydrocephalus is "water on the brain" your cerebral spinal fluid is not able to drain completely like it's supposed to so it builds on your brain. Commonly people are placed with shunts in their head to drain the excess fluid in their abdomen. I do. It have a shunt (yet) and may need one eventually.
This disease has a very high rate of causing  Alzheimer's at an earlier age than normal. People can also often confuse hydrocephalus for Alzheimer's. This is basically my way of letting everyone know of a disease that I never knew I had and it's a disease that could cause Alzheimer's earlier and possibly even death. I've been told by my neuro doc that if I have trouble keeping my balance or my gate (the way I walk) is all over the pace or I can't hold my urine then I need to get to an emergency room right away.
I can't believe that never knew I had this, I'm glad there's treatment but I feel everyone should be aware of the disease since it's not commonly talked about. Just be careful and keep these symptoms in mind, it could help you, your spouse or your children later on or now.
