Dermal piercing, help if anyone knows about these?

Hey guy If anyone knows about dermal piercings could you please help me out, 
I have a skin diver in my chest and the resent one is a dermal the dermal foot that goes underneath the skin is bigger than the skin diver , 
I have a concern about the dermal I got , it is sticking out, as you can see In the photo , does anyone know if this will eventually sink in flat against my skin like my skin diver is ,,, 
Please if anyone knows , any information will help, I don't want it to stick out like this forever :/

I had one, a pretty diamond on my chest. It got infected, my Dr gave me antibiotics and it cleared up. But it got infection a second time even though I was very careful with it and it started rejecting. So I had it removed

Your body is rejecting it. Mine started to and healed again. Doesn't bother me any.

I had my back dermals done about two years ago. When they started to reject they looked like that eventually I had to get them surgically removed because my skin fused to them so they couldn't even reject properly (it was awful)
