Poke in Hawaii?

I'm in Hawaii right now and I really want some poke.  My dr said that if I want to eat raw fish from a reputable place, I'd probably be fine. Thoughts?

Don't go to crazy because of the Mercury in tuna but fresh is no more likely to hurt you than bagged lettuce or chipotle!

I live in Hawaii & right now there's an outbreak of hepatitis A & they're thinking its from poke but haven't actually proved it yet.

I live in Hawaii.. we eat pounds of raw fish at a time.. you will be fine

I went to Maui when I was 4 months (now 7.5) I had fresh Poke once while there as an appetizer. Japanese women & other cultures eat raw fish if it's from a reputable place & you just eat it once or twice should be fine

Omg! I LOVE me some poke in Hawaii! I've been craving it since I was there in January. I would stay away from it while pregnant though. As good as it is, it's not worth the risk.

I would not. Almost all fish have parasites, so you're risking getting one while pregnant. I get wild caught fish from Alaska all the time, and 97% of the time, I have to pull worms out of the flesh. It's been commercially frozen, so it won't hurt, but I would never ever eat raw fish if it hadn't been frozen in a commercial freezer. Does not matter how reputable the place is, fresh wild fish is a risk.
