Why was my period late?
So I was sexually active with my bf last month on either the 30th or the 1st of this month. It was very late at night when it happened.
I'm not on birth control because I'm not very sexually active. That was the first time I'd been sexually active since Dec of last year. I just don't find it necessary since I'm not active like that.
The once in a blue moon when I am, a condom should suffice. Which is what we used. The condom did wind up breaking though but he assured me the moment he heard the pop he pulled out. I even felt him relieve himself on me(tmi ik).
Anyway, my period was scheduled for the 7th of this month. I've been using Glow <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Period Tracker</a> for 2 years now and it's never wrong. I always get my period the day it says I will.
Glow reminded me I was starting my period on the 7th only I hadn't started. I instantly started to freak out. There was no reason why my period shouldn't have started that day. Nothing has changed and I don't have irregular periods. The only explanation was the possibility of pregnancy.
I did have some pretty rough cramps but they quickly sufficed. I put in my tracker that my period was late and it said I would start on the 9th. On the 8th I went and bought a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I did have some very faint spotting. The next morning I woke up and I had started my period like Glow said I would and it continued like normal.
So what was that all about? Anyone have any ideas? And has something similar to this ever happen to anyone else?
