SO crying?

Question

If you have a boyfriend/husband or anything In between! How often do they cry? I feel like far too many men feel like they shouldn't cry due to their gender, which I feel is pretty wrong and the fact women are seen as the ones that cry more. 
So I'm curious as to whether your man cries or how often? 
Do you cry? Often? Secretly? Comment ? As I can't fit it all in one poll :)

Personal experience is that my SO doesn't cry often, maybe a few sniffles sometimes. I'm the one that's the cryer in the relationship whether over films or just tough times

We've been together for 3 years now and ive only seen him cry 3 times. All 3 were when he was afraid he was going to lose me and our relationship was going to end. I'm fine with guys crying but my ex would cry more than i do/did which i thought was overkill because he would cry over small things and would use it as a controlling mechanism.

He's cried twice. Once when we had to put down our cat and once when he had just started a job he felt wasn't good enough (thought he made the wrong decision).

I cry all the time, but I usually do it when he isn't around. It's no secret, but it's just timing.

My husband has cried about 8 times since Sept. Sounds like a lot but we had a miscarriage, our home burnt 2 weeks after that, our cat that had just had brain surgery died in the same fire, so we have had a rough time in one month. I think holding all that in at the time hit him later on.

The birth of our son and the first time he ever got a christmas present at 23years old. And it was from me. Oh and the other night he was drinking beer and talking to our 8week old about his fucked up shitty dad. Thats literally it in the two years ive known him.

The one time he's shed a couple of tears was when he'd upset me and i was on the verge of tears

The only time I've seen him cry was when i suggested that we could get rid of our dog so we could get a house. A lot of people were rejecting our rental applications and it was stressing us out. I didnt even mean it i just said it because i was upset. 
We've now actually got a home with our dog.

Neither of us are big cryers, my partner has cryed once in the 5 years we've been together. I've cryed a little more often in the past year due to pregnancy hormones but before that maybe 5 or 6 times a year 😊
