HELLP syndrome :/
I suppose I can give everyone an update as much as possible now. Saturday morning I woke up at 430am with a severe headache, took Tylenol and tried to wait it out. At 8am I jumped in the bath to see if that would help. It did, to an extent. I went back to bed. By about noon, I was finally feeling better so thought nothing of it. Sunday morning came and I woke up at 6am with an excruciating migraine again. Took Tylenol, a bath, and tried to wait it out again. Once 9am came around, I couldn't stand it anymore. I had gotten sick 6 times from 6-9am and I needed to go in. I had my boss pick me up (Jessie was stuck at work) and she dropped me off and I told her that I'd call her when I was done. I didn't get to leave. My blood pressure was 181/113 when I got to the hospital. Immediately, an IV was done and labs were taken. Unfortunately, my worst fear came out of the darkness. The doctor told me I have severe preeclampsia. Also known as HELLP syndrome. I have been given meds to stop my migraines. And most importantly, the meds to strengthen little ones lungs. I am on strict bedrest with a catheter until little ones decides it's time. We want to push for as long as possible, but everyone is prepared for a NICU stay. Thank you everyone for having me in your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate it.
Couldn't ask for a better girlfriend that stayed the night with me and made sure I was okay.
Baby Emma will more no longer be an October baby, but will be a July baby. Trying to keep her in as long as possible.
