Tampon?

Hey guys is it okay that it hurts to put a tampon in and when it goes in it hurts like hell and sticks out  a little bit??

Well the first time you use tampons of course it's not gonna feel pleasant, and if you take it out and it doesn't have a lot of blood on it (sorry for the tmi) then it does kinda hurt cause it like pulls your skin around it 😁 I remember that when I first started using tampons. It's just something you have to get used to, but it shouldn't be sticking out. If it is your not putting it in all the way! Try again and again and you'll get the hang of it ! Lol :)

Everybody's hymen is different, and things will fit differently. When I first started using tampons it was super painful and I had to stop and ended up only using pads for years. I've started trying tampons again and it's working for me. You could try cutting the tampon, or try tampax pearl. It's likely that you aren't inserting it correctly, and at an odd angle. It shouldn't be sticking out. That's not affective anyway. Keep trying and if you're still concerned after a while ask your doctor about it, they might have recommendations.

I had to use a little bit of lube whenever I used tampons, otherwise it hurt too much - and I know I was putting them in properly. My flow just wasn't heavy enough.
