Buddhist Beliefs?

Question

So tomorrow is day 49 for my little chocolate chip sized embryo. Is anyone else out there of the belief that day 49 is when the soul enters the body? This has been on my mind for the last hour, it's an interesting thought 😇

It's an interesting thought but as for me if I had to think about it I would say that the soul enters the body when the baby is born. None of us know anything though so it's interesting to think about :) have you read the book Buddhism without beliefs? It's pretty amazing.

I believe it's there from conception. But everyone has their different beliefs. I think that's why you can sense your pregnancy very early on. I could always tell I was pregnant before I could even test. I attribute that to the new life and the other soul inside my womb. I think that's why some mothers have dreams about their future child and knows it's a girl or a boy before they even know the sex. Or they know it will be a little girl with curly brown hair and brown eyes. Then a few years later they realize their dream was true. I believe our souls some how connect during that very special time. Being pregnant is a gift and very special. I believe as women we have been given a very special task of being "gateways" into this mortal realm. Kind of strange for some im sure, but that's what I believe.
