Maybe this will help others. Cramping and nausea are particularly bad the 1st 3-4 days of my cycle and the heat does not ease the cramping pain but it definitely makes me more nauseated. Hopefully another may benefit from this practice

Heating pads or hot water bottles can be useful for soothing aches and cramping. Research shows that heat applied to skin can relieve internal pains for up to 1 hour.
