Anyone know how to thicken baby's hair?

My sister's son was born with little to no hair. She wants his hair to be thicker. We did some research and candle nut oil is the best for hair growth, is it safe for a week old baby? Should we wait for him to be some months old to apply the oil? Or do you ladies have other alternative ways?

You know baby's hair will grow eventually right? Quite alot of babies are born with little to no hair and stay that way for some months. I only had fuzz until I was around 4 to 5 months old lol. It's natural. I wouldn't recommend putting anything on the baby, natural or otherwise unless medically necessary.

Seems to be an innocent question, but just let it grow! Both my babies were bald when born and now have thick hair. It's just part of it...lol

I'm a girl but when I was young my mom waited until I had some hair grown in and it was thin. She than shaved me bald and waited it to grow back in and now I have super duper thick hair! I was young enough not to remember it though.

He's too young. Wait til he's at least 3 months old before using any products in his hair. Hair Milk, Shea Moisture (kids one), & coconut oil are all good for hair growth.

Um....leave the poor kid alone.  The only thing that should be going on that kids head is baby oil if it has cradle cap.
