Alcohol and fertility?

Ok, so I'm a bit confused on this subject. Glow says alcohol can affect your fertility negatively, but then I have seen/heard women say that they think alcohol is what helped them get pregnant. I'm just wondering other's thoughts and some info on the subject..

Alcohol can help you get pregnant because it clouds your judgement and you aren't as careful during sex.... Alcohol is not really good for any system in your body. Hormones are fragile. Cut back on unnecessary "extras" in your life. It will never hurt you to be healthier. Granted, a glass of wine on nights I couldn't sleep was incredible but it wasn't often. Use sound judgement on what is right for your body. What works for one woman  doesn't for another.
