Normal after pap smears? Need help from other expecting mommas!

Hey there everyone! I'm needing advice from other expecting mommas! I am 8 weeks pregnant And just had my first appointment today.everything went well and heart beat was 170. They did everything they needed to do including a pap smear. So has any other expecting mommas had a brownish discharge after they had pap smears? If so is it normal, or something I need to be concerned about? And I have never had any spotting nor brown discharge before this. Thanks for your help! :)
