"Baby on Board" stickers. Why?

What are the reasons to use this sticker in our cars?

I work as a medic and always am looking for these signs on cars. Helps us know to possibly look for an infant. Also those stick figure family stickers everyone has these days also keeps us aware to a potential number of patients. . . I thought those "baby on board" signs were ridiculous until I started working as a paramedic and one saved a babies life after a bad wreck. I suggest all parents have one if they have an infant or small child in the car.

To tell other drivers you havent had a decent sleep in months, you may have low patience, easily triggered road rage, and may be too tired to pay full attention to your surroundings.

I used to think these were lame but then I read that they are to let first responders know that there is a baby/child in the car incase of an accident. Definitely putting it on my car

It's used to alert paramedics there is a baby in the car if you were to get in to an accident or anything like that.

If you get in a wreck it lets paramedics know to look for a baby also. Cause sometimes the car seat gets thrown out in a wreck and no one knows there's a baby. So it's for paramedics and police man to know there's a baby to look for

In Canada those baby on board things keeps other drivers a good distance away from your car. Ive had a bunch of cars not pass me and stay a car length or two back while having that in my window for my niece.

For emergencies.. But I've always thought it was to let other drivers know and to be more careful around your car. You may be distracted or driving a bit slower, this let's them know why and curbs the road rage a little

I always thought it was so paramedics know there's a child on board who can't help themselves, so if the car was upside down you could probably crawl out but a baby or infant couldn't
