Does losing your virginity hurt?

I'm only 14 so I guess I shouldn't be too concerned about this yet but, does losing your virginity hurt? I've heard so much about like hymens and stuff but I never looked too deep into it. But to anyone who knows, does it hurt? Is there any way I could make it not hurt when it comes my time? Or at least make the pain less severe (if there is any pain)? Thank you

It is very important that you are relaxed, comfortable, and lubricated. Having tampons and fingers inserted may help a bit, but I believe it all comes down to the size of your man. I've heard many mixed stories of it feeling good and hurting the first time.
 Personally, I had previously been fingered and persay "stretched" before my first time and it still hurt when I actually had sex. I knew I was aroused and ready although my boyfriend was definitely on the larger side. Even while taking everything very slow and keeping the heat there, I felt a stinging/stretching feeling and learned I bleed a little. I'm not trying to scare you but it was an uncomfortable feeling for ME my first time. I believe it depends on the person and circumstances. But don't be afraid to have sex, it feels better and gets better. 💓

I cried like a bitch tbh. It hurt the first 4 times for me! But my boyfriend (not bragging)  is very "thick" in width and hes about 9.5 inches, im also very little. Depends on the person some people say it hurt then some say it doesnt lol

For me it hurt only for like the first minute, all I can say is stay relaxed, make sure it's with someone your comfortable with. And make sure there's plenty of lube on hand!! lots of lube!! Also make sure you go slow and find a consistent rythm and after like 30 seconds it should stop hurting and feel better. It's different with everyone though and it didn't hurt too much for me because id been fingered quite a lot previously so it wasn't a huge shock.
